On the 10th floor of the Lister Building, two young programmers were burning the candle at both ends adding the finishing touches to an online, interactive Radiological Debtors Application. This was 1983 – the start of Mike Bricker’s quest to provide superior IT services and products to the medical community. Mike’s software/vendor company became the largest supplier of radiological IT solutions and billing software to the private radiological market in South Africa, with over 150 sites still using his billing software today.
In 2000, Mike started X Man to assist his radiological clients with customised billing solutions and practice management expertise.
After Mike sold his software company in 2007, he continued to build X Man into the company it is today. By focusing on building strong customer relationships and developing sound credit control systems for his clients, X Man has successfully reduced the bad debt for many practices. X Man currently provides its services to 4 large radiology and 7 nuclear medicine practices.
